Home insurance claim uphold rate falls 4.7 points to 28.2% as decision volume drops 15.5%

Veste's analysis of 25,682 published Financial Ombudsman decisions on home insurance claims finds the uphold rate fell from 32.9% to 28.2% between two consecutive 90-day windows, alongside a fall in decision volume. The longer run of monthly and annual data suggests this sits within a longer downward drift rather than a sudden shift.
